If you're an alchemist, a great way to make extra gold is to do elemental transmutes. For example, on the auction house Eternal Earth might sell for 10 gold and Eternal Air might sell for 40 gold. By transmuting Eternal Earth into Air, you can easily make 30 gold a day for about 10 seconds of work. In WotLK, the only way to learn these transmutes is by randomly discovering them. Previously this was a time-consuming process that required performing lots and lots of transmutes. However there's a trick to quickly discover all of the transmutes! Here's how: - Have an alchemy skill of 395.
- Train "Transmute: Titanium" from your local alchemy trainer.
- Get the materials for the Titanium transmute. You'll need 2 Cobalt Bar, 8 Saronite Bar, and 2 Crystallized Life. They cost me about 40 gold on the auction house. If there is no Crystallized Life on the auction house, you can buy an Eternal Life and right-click it to get 10 Crystallized Life.
- Get the materials to make lots of elixirs. I grabbed several stacks of Goldclover and lots of Imbued Vials so I could make lots of Elixir of Mighty Fortitude.
- Perform the Titanium Transmutation.
- Quickly create as many elixirs or potions as you can. I created lots of Elixir of Mighty Fortitude. If the recipe turns green for you, feel free to switch to a higher-level recipe so you get more skill-ups.
You should now have discovered a new transmutation approximately every other potion creation. In the screenshot below, I created 9 elixirs and made 7 new transmutation discoveries. Two of these transmutations are valuable and will make me an easy 30g a day. This has worked for several other people, so go ahead and give it a try. Enjoy! 
We've just released the ultra-high resolution map of Northrend for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It has location names, zone names and levels, alliance travel paths, and horde travel paths. Over the next few days we'll be posting locations for herb, ore, and treasure in Northrend. Check out the map: 
If you want to get the WotLK expansion on release day, it looks like there are two options: - Wait in line for hours the night before. Of course, this only works if you live in New York, Austin, Anaheim, or San Francisco.[1]
- Just pre-order it from Amazon and choose "Release-Date Delivery" when you're checking out. This means they'll ship the game to you in advance so that it actually shows up on your door on release day. Perhaps shipping will even be fast and you'll get it a bit early. ;) You can also order the official WotLK strategy guide.

The site is a virtual-world version of the classifieds sections of real-world newspapers and real-world sites such as craigslist.org. Sometimes reposting your latest Epic BOE drop on the auction house until it sells isn’t the best idea — all those auction house deposits add up. Although the official Warcraft forums provide a great place to troll meet other players, posts looking for specific items tend to get lost in all the noise. WarcraftList will provide a structured way to help you find what you need and let you tell everyone else about what you have to offer. We have also started a blog on warcraftlist.
WarcraftSearch.com is our customized search engine built specifically for searching World of Warcraft information. Today we've made it much better by leveraging Google's CSE. Now there's no need to select which sites you want it to search -- it will automatically only search the top Warcraft sites. It includes your favorite sites, such as the official Armory, wowhead, and thottbot. Using our search you can simply search for SSC and get plenty of results relating to Serpentshrine Cavern.  On our Outland map of the expansion, you can now map the locations of Ore, Herbs, and Treasure! The right-hand column now has options for "Show Outland Herbs", "Show Outland Ore", and "Show Outland Treasure". Clicking on one will display a list of the resources that can be mapped. I've been using the map to help farm mats for flasks and elixirs as my guild starts to tackle SSC. The icons haven't been cleaned-up, but they should work for now. View the Outland map here! In the next week, we should have the resources locations for the Blood Elf and Draenei starting zones posted.
