Beta of MapWoW Version 2 - Tuesday, October 10, 2006
We've been hard at work upgrading MapWoW to version 2 of the Google Maps API. We have a sneak-peak available for all of our readers here:

You'll notice a few new features, most noticeably the cool mini-map in the lower-right corner of the map. The map should also respond a bit faster than the previous version. If the new version of the map crashes your browser or doesn't work, please email us or post a comment below. Thanks for helping us test our new version!

We've fixed the issue with Khadgar's Whisker and other resources. We're just a few small bugfixes away from going live with version 2. Please let us know if you see any bugs or display problems.
Have you thought of producing a fat client version of the tool?
We have considered making a fat client version that would run on your computer. Unfortunately Google Earth does not appear to provide the same type of API that Google Maps provides. If anyone knows a way that we could port our map over to Google Earth, please let us know! :)
