Version 2 is Live - Friday, October 27, 2006
Our Warcraft Map now uses version 2 of the Google Maps API. The map should respond more quickly and it has a few new features. Over the next few days, we'll post information on how to use the new features. A big thanks goes out to everyone that helped us test the new version! No need to update your bookmarks, the map is still at the same location:

The last two + zoom levels on the original Map are broken. Was using the map all day, then kaplewey, no more detailed zoom as the images are just 'missing'?

If you were using the map during the upgrade this morning, you may need to refresh the page before it works properly.
All the zoom levels appear to be working fine for me in both FireFox and IE. What browser are you using?
Unfortunately, the old version worked a lot better for me than the new one.
Using Safari, on Mac OS X, all updates done.
What about the current version isn't working well for you? Is it slower, or does it crash?
Would it be difficult to use the same platform with a completely different map? I would like this zoom/pan capabilty for a LiteratureMap that I want to develop. Could you WoW guys spare a couple minutes to get me pointed in the right direction?

about my previous post on mac os x and safari: it is working very much slower than the previous version. It does not crash at all, however.

I didnt know where else to put this but in azshara i've found 2 dreamfoil spawns that weren't on the map. Their coords are: 40, 75 and 48, 85.
