Burning Crusade Zone and Location Labels Added - Thursday, January 11, 2007
We've just added the Zone and Location name labels for the Outland map. The Outland will be added with the Burning Crusade expansion that will be released this coming Tuesday, January 16th. To see the new zone and location labels on the map, first visit the Outland Map, and then click on either "Show Names for Locations" or "Show Names for Zones" in the menu to the right of the map.
We added all of the Outland zones: Netherstorm, Blade's Edge Mountains, Zangarmarsh, Hellfire Peninsula, Nagrand, Terokkar Forest, and Shadowmoon Valley. Some of the Outland locations and cities we added are The Dark Portal, Thrallmar, Falcon Watch, Honor Hold, Temple of Sha'naar, Hellfire Citadel, Area 52, The Stormspire, Tempest Keep, Sylvanaar, Thunderlord Stronghold, Gronn'bor Shrine, Gruul's Lair, Telredor, Orebor Harborage, Swamprat Post, Zabra'jin, Cenarion Refuge, Sporeggar, Coilfang Reservoir, Telaar, Garadar, Aeris, Halaa, Allerian Stronghold, Stonebreaker Hold, Shattrath City, Auchindoun, Wildhammer Stronghold, Shadowmoon Village, Ancient Draenei Base, and the Black Temple.

Hi Drew, you seem to have an error on your Hellfire Peninsula map. You have a Temple of Sha'naar listed around the same spot where the Temple of Telhamat should be. I can't guarantee that there's no such place as the Temple of Sha'naar since I didn't make a point to check every nook and cranny of Hellfire Pen. But I know the Temple of Telhamat is in that general location and you don't have it on your map either. Since it's a quest hub with a flight path it might be good to add it if you can.
I have spent a few hours and have gotten all of the Outland Alliance flight paths. Including the two that require you to choose a faction. Would you like me to email you coords so that you can add these to your map? Your map is the only one that I really use. Thank you!

Is there anyway I can contribute to the Resource Node locations?
I'm a 67 rogue with 345 mining.
Anonymous, we hope to be able to accept resource locations for the expansion. We're looking in to how we can best accept submissions from users. In the mean time, feel free to use the gatherer plugin to gather data on resource node locations. We'll most likely accept data from the gatherer plugin. You can download the plugin here:

When do you expect to have the other Burning Crusade "continents" - Azuremyst and Quel'thalas - added to the Azeroth map?
Selenium, we hope to have them up in the next day or two. It's taking a bit longer than we initially thought.

Really have loved & used your site for gathering professions, previous to BC release. I noticed you mentioned working on expansion nodes, anything people can do to help, and Do you have an idea about an ETA? Thanks!
The expansion nodes are now in the map!
