New Feature: Resource Information - Wednesday, February 28, 2007
While you're viewing herbs, ore, or treasure on the map, you can now click on a resource's icon to get more information on that resource. You'll see the name of the resource, the skill level required to gather the resource, the name of the zone it's located in, and even the in-game coordinates for the resource. To the right of the resource's name there's also a small "More Info" link. This link will do a Google search via Warcraft Search for the resource. This is useful if you want to quickly look up the resource in thottbot, wowwiki, etc.

Are there plans to add resources to the Blood Elf and Draenei starting areas?
Yes, we're planning on adding the information in the near future. We'll be sure to let everyone know when we do.
Is the map for herbs and ores updated so i could walk ther and there would be a herb where it says on the map or is it just been found a while ago?
When are you guys going to upload the new resources to your outland map. You have the map..but you dont have the options to display any of the new recorces such as fel iron, so it displays nothing.
Anonymous, sorry for the delay in adding the new resources. We've been occupied with work, however we're currently creating a system to map the new Outland resources.
it is not clear how to get to a given set of in game coordinates. The only way I have found is to interpolate from the ore locations. Am I missing somethign obvious?
